Reliability first
We design every signal path assuming something will fail, then make sure the viewer never notices.
About backstageix
The team that keeps the signal clean
We are broadcast engineers, camera operators and distribution specialists who make sure news programmes get the feeds they need, when they need them.
Our mission
One central hub for every media feed
backstageix was built around a simple idea: broadcasters should not have to stitch together cameras, links and distribution from separate suppliers. We bring professional video operation, live signal management and content distribution into one accountable team.
Whether it is a single live shot outside a courthouse or a multi-site election programme, our job is the same: a dependable, high-quality feed that your editors can rely on.
- Operators on call across the United Kingdom
- Backup paths designed into every critical feed
- Clear run sheets and honest post-broadcast reports
